The Directed Generative Production Binder began as an attempt to solve the practical problems encountered while making films with generative systems.

How do you preserve a character across shots? How do you control where something appears in the frame? How do you make one shot begin where the previous shot ended? How do you distinguish a model failure from a prompting failure? When a generation succeeds, how do you know what caused the success—and whether it can be repeated?

Those questions led to testing. Testing led to measurement. Production failures became evidence. Successful techniques became methods.
